Use Pesticides and Chemicals in Your Garden But Be Careful!

It is not only the quality of water that gets affected adversely but the beneficial insects along with the harmful ones are also affected equally. As a matter of fact there is no such way that ensures preventing the beneficial insects and only the harmful insects are killed.

Pesticides and related chemicals actually act as poison to the insects. You must know that the pesticides and chemicals could cause severe harm to the plants as well and therefore you should use them with extreme care. It is always better to learn the right methods of application.

There is only way that could prove substantially beneficial while preventing such happenings in your garden. Natural alternatives to the pesticides and chemicals provide a better solution to this problem. These natural alternatives are cost effective and you could save your money as well.

Some of the natural alternatives to the chemical pesticides include;

  • Non-detergent insecticidal soaps are readily available in markets these days. You can use them more effectively.
  • You may also consider applying garlic and hot pepper sprays in your garden. These natural alternatives are extremely effective in keeping off the harmful insects.
  • Applying a forceful stream of water to the plants will also dislodge the insects but while applying this technique you must take care that the plant do not get dislodged itself.
  • Used dishwater in home can also be used for this purpose. In addition to this, you may add one teaspoon of liquid soap in to one gallon of water and apply this to the plants.
  • There are some specific natural repellent plants for insects. You can always consider growing these plants in your garden. Planting and growing these natural repellent plants among the flowers and vegetables will help you keep the harmful insects away.
